In Closing- Gone for Good

Well overall, I enjoyed reading this book... it was my kind of book.... the only part I did not like was the Sheila/Norah.... I agree with Florit... it was just unbelievable... I like believing that the events that take place have a ring of truth to them.... that was just a bit much for me.

It has been great blogging.... I feel like I am part of the 21st century... we must do it again... next time someone else can run the blog discussions.... see ya.... have a great school year!

I enjoyed both books tremendously! I am now going to read more of both authors! I especially enjoyed blogging! I had never blogged before this and think it is a great forum for discussion. I want to implement it in my class, but still have to think of a way to manage it.

Goins you did an excellent job with leading the discussion!!! I don't know if I would be able to do it as well. I liked responding, but it is totally different to have to lead the discussion. Great job!!! Kudos!

Florit, it is your turn to pick the books next summer! I hope you are up to the challenge!

Enjoy the rest of your summer, mine has ended:(

Love you all!!

Peace

Ciao

I think I liked this book more than The Memory Keeper’s Daughter. I liked it a lot, except for the unbelievable parts!

I like blogging! Its fun stuff…I feel like I’m back in college!!

I’m sorry – why didn’t anyone mention Category 7?!? I just finished reading it and there is definitely some discussions that need to occur!!!! OMG! Maybe I can think of something to discuss!

I am looking forward to finding the books for next summer….but that is a big task! I think I might need some help! Well summer will end soon… but I’m kind of excited about going back to work. I had surgery on my foot and I’ve been home since June 20th…BTW Goins I’ll be showing up to work Aug.12th (Tuesday) crippled and in crutches! I had a shortened metatarsal on my right foot that was deforming my toes. Anyway, I decided to face my fears and go through surgery! I have to say it’s been a journey…5 pins on my foot, pain, meds etc…but it’ll all be over sometime in September! I’ll keep you posted Clarington. Have fun in Georgia- I’ll miss you! ♥
