Hi... okay... we don't know alot about Julie, but I gather that Julie was basically a typical teenager. She also seemed to have a " connection" with John Asselta a.k.a the ghost. It seems that she got turned around by Sheila Rogers when she went to college. I don't quite understand why she never told Will that she was pregnant... maybe she knew how "non-committal" he was and she figured why bother...on the other hand... maybe she was embarrassed about the whole thing....I could not figure that part out.
Katy... now can you imagine growing up looking just like your sister... that reminded me of Nicole Simpson and her sister( can't remember her name) but she looks just like Nicole with darker hair, so that is how I imagine Katy... she looks just like her sister. That must be a bummer to walk around and your parents have difficulty looking at you. Anyways... she had "hutzpa" I mean, she knew all along that Ken had killed her sister, and she was just trying to get to him somehow. The only thing that I did not understand was, the fight that took place in Will's apartment... I still do not know if that was really staged. The author made her character really tough for 18. I mean she took a hell of a beating even if it was staged!!!

Julie, I think got involved in drugs because of Sheila and Ken and she was embarrassed by it. She broke up with Will because of her drug usage, which Will knew nothing about and being the wimp that he was, he let her without any questions. When she was about to tell Will the truth, things happened and Ken killed her.
I felt sorry for Katy too! She had to live with knowing the truth her whole life! She could not live her own life fully because of the dark cloud hanging over her head about her sister's death. She worked with John to get to Ken, which I think she had to do, in order for her to live her own life and not live in the shadows of her sister.
The bedroom scene was not staged. Ken is the one who tried to kill her. He tied up Will so he would not get in the way or as a way not to kill him too. He wanted Katy dead because he knew she knew the truth and the only one who could testify that he was the one who really killed Julie. Good thing Will had enough courage to try to help her. He did not know at the time it was his brother. He thought it was John. I think if he knew it was Ken, things would have been different, being the wimp that he was. As you can see, I did not like Will!!!
I agree, she had "Hutzpa". I liked that she was a fighter and did not want Ken to get away with killing her sister.
Julie got mixed up with the wrong people at the wrong time! Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time. It sucks that her life had to end like that. I have to agree that she was ashamed of her drug use and getting involved in to that mess, thus she didn’t tell Will. I felt bad for Julie because she should have been the one to tell Will everything, instead, he found out from someone else. It was really hard for everyone to deal with Julie’s death, and after all those years finding out Will is the father of her child- that’s just crazy!
Katy had some issues as well. Imagine knowing your sister’s killer and not being able to do anything about it. She was a strong willed girl who wanted revenge for her sister’s death. She was a firecracker for an eighteen year old. I think she had more fire at 18 than I do at 25! She definitely showed Will and Ken who she was and what she was willing to do for her sister.
